St. Croix Trout spinning rod features a blank construction made of a blend of SCVI and SCII graphite. This mix is known as mid modulus graphite. This means that this rod is able to deliver high strength and durability, but it doesn’t affect the sensitivity required to fish Trout. 

The rod is also double coated with Flex-Coat slow cure finish. They offer better appearance and protection. 

St. Croix also features stainless steel guides from Sea Guide. The reel seat comes in a split style with custom inserts. This enhances sensitivity and comfortness.
